Ubuntu 12.10 Codename Announced : Quantal Quetzal
Ubuntu 12.10 (the "Q" code name hasn't been
announced yet) will have 3 alpha versions, 2 betas and just like Precise, no
release candidate. Here's the Ubuntu 12.10 release schedule:
- Alpha 1 - June 7th
- Alpha 2 - June 28th
- Alpha 3 - August 2nd
- Beta 1 - September 6th
- Beta 2 - September 27th
- Final Ubuntu 12.10 release - October 18th
So Mark Shuttleworth has just announced the codename for
upcoming Ubuntu 12.10 will be called Quantal Quetzal
I give you the Quantal Quetzal, soon to be dressed in tessellated technicolour, now open for toolchains, kernels and other pressing preparatory packages.
Mark Shuttleworth also speaks about a new icon themes that
can be see the light in the upcoming Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal.
